Day 24 – Best quote from a novel

From time to time, the author of a series writes a line into one of the books that manages to sum up the whole series in just a few simple words. Jim Butcher found these words in book 10 of the Dresden Files (really, a Dresden Files quote????? Whodathunkit?) Turn Coat.

In a battle against an old school (and here “old school” means millennial) Native American Naagloshii (“skinwalker”) on an uncharted island in the middle of Lake Michigan, Joseph Listens to Wind (“Injun Joe”) says to Harry, “You don’t get in trouble by the halves, do ya, son?”

Yep, that pretty much sums it up. The whole series, right there in one smart assed comment.
